Our Story

Meridian Continuum Press was created from a belief that every life carries meaning, memory, and lessons worth preserving.

Through projects such as Write Your Life and the Intergenerational Legacy Initiative, the mission is to help preserve histories, family memories, and human connection for future generations.

Every life leaves a legacy worth preserving.

Memories do not simply tell us where we have been.

They remind us who we have become.”

Why This Work Exists

Meridian Continuum Press exists because every life carries stories, lessons, memories, and experiences worth preserving.

Through books, storytelling projects, and the Intergenerational Legacy Initiative, our mission is to help people capture what matters most before it is lots to time.

We believe that preserving memories is about more than recording the past. It is about honoring lives, strengthening connections, and leaving something meaningful for future generations.

Every life leaves a legacy worth preserving.

Featured Projects

Writing, publishing, and legacy-centered initiatives focused on reflection, resilience, leadership, and human connection.

A developing effort focused on connecting generations through storytelling and meaningful human connection.

The Intergenerational Legacy Initiative is in its early stages of development. We are actively seeking mission-minded leaders, educators, community advocates, faith-based organizations, and volunteers who share a passion for preserving stories, reducing isolation, and strengthening connections between generations.

Those who choose to help build and expand this initiative may have opportunities to serve in leadership roles, contribute to regional development efforts, and participate in future program growth as the initiative evolves.

We are especially interested in connecting with individuals who feel called to help shape this effort from the beginning and explore how it might serve their communities.

If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to connect with us through the Request Information page to learn more about partnership and leadership opportunities.

About / My Story

Dennis G. Smith is a retired United States Air Force Major, author, and founder of Meridian Continuum Press. After a 25-year military career centered on leadership, logistics, and service, he turned his focus toward writing, reflective storytelling, and initiatives dedicated to preserving personal history, legacy, and human connection.

Through projects such as Write Your Life and the Intergenerational Legacy Initiative, his work seeks to encourage resilience, and meaningful conversation across generations.

Intergenerational Legacy Initiative

Connecting generations through story, listening, and legacy.

The Intergenerational Legacy Initiative is a community-centered program designed to bring students and older adults together through guided life-story conversations. The goal is simple: help senior citizens preserve memories, wisdom, and personal history while giving young people the opportunity to listen, learn, and understand the value of a life lived.

Listening is where legacy begins.

Why This Matters

This initiative exists to:

  • reduce isolation among older adults

  • preserve family and community history

  • encourage intergenerational connection

  • teach students empathy, listening, responsibility, and respect

  • create a lasting keepsake for families

How the Program Works

A participating facility, school, church, or community group identifies seniors who would enjoy sharing their life stories. Students or trained volunteers are matched with participants and use guided questions from Write Your Life: A Guided Autobiography Workbook to help capture memories in a respectful, organized way.

Partner Overview

The Story Partner Initiative connects volunteers, students, families, churches, educators, and community organizations in a shared effort to preserve personal histories, strengthen intergenerational understanding, and honor the lived experiences of others.
